We are here to help you find the right system that suits your needs in the airplane and beyond.

Tablet PCs offer tremendous value since you can use them outside the airplane, and nothing beats the utility and capabilities of a PC. If you are considering an iPad, please click here for a comparison.

Asus Eee PC T91MT-PU17-BK 8.9-Inch Intel Atom Netbook Computer (Black)

This is an affordable and well sized option. The physical size is the same as an NACO procedure page. It would make a great kneeboard if you wanted to fashion a velcro strap for it. This is an entry level PC - it won't set the world on fire in speed and performance - but Chartflier runs okay on it and they can be purchased brand new for under $400.

It has a solid state drive and comes with Windows 7 Home Premium. It's a good entry level computer with good usability outside the airplane for home and the small office. The screen is not recommended for full-canopy or other aircraft with bright, sunny cockpits such as an RV-3/4/6/7/8 but we have been using it regularly in typical cabin-class aircraft such as Cessnas, Pipers, Mooneys, etc.

This Asus tablet PC is available for purchase in our store bundled with an annual Chartflier subscription.

This tablet was very popular at Oshkosh.

Lenovo Ideapad S10-3t 0651-85U 10.1-Inch Netbook Tablet (Black)

This is a good computer with excellent usability outside the airplane for home and the small office. It is a step up from the Asus above, and comes standard with a spinning hard drive which is fine for most pilots, but if you fly above 10,000 MSL you should consider an upgrade to a SSD. We are happy to help you figure out what is best for your situation. Don't hesitate to call or email us today!

The Lenovo screen is much brighter than that Asus above, and provide acceptable usability even in direct, full sunlight - very suitable for full-canopy aircraft such as RV-3/4/6/7/8. Again, don't hesitate to call or email us so we can help you find the right option.

This Lenovo tablet PC is also available for purchase in our store including an annual Chartflier subscription.

This tablet was also on display and very popular at Oshkosh.

Archos 9 PC Tablet (Black)

One of our beta testers uses this computer and thinks it's terrific. He regularly flies IFR five days a week so has a lot of experience using this tablet in the airplane.

Fujitsu LifeBook T4410 Tablet PC

We have been using a Fujitsu with an outdoor display in one of our airplanes for a couple of years and they are very good, higher-end computers, that work well in the airplane, at home or even at work. If you want a higher-end PC this would be a good one to consider.
